Senior's Club

Welcome to the home page of the Silkbap Senior's Club.

Our over Seniors are an active group that reaches out to the seniors in our community.

Each month the group gets together for indoor bowls, computing classess and bus trips.

Bowls. The bowls group gets together for day bowls every Wednesday morning from 9am.

We also have night bowls every Thursday night from 7pm (all ages welcome).

Bowls normally meets every week from Mid January until mid December.

Computing Classes: New since 2010 are our computing classes for seniors. This group is run by seniors for seniors and is open to anyone in the community who wants to learn more about computers.

Classes are held every Wednesday and Thursday morning with several sessions each day and a maximum of four people per session.

Bookings through the Church Office are essential.

Monthly Bus Trips: Each month, on the first Tuesday of the month, the Seniors hire a full coach and spend the day visiting different parts of our glorious state.

Every month has a different destination and in the many years that this ministry has been operating they are yet to visit the same place twice.

The coach normally fills up quick so bookings are essential.
